FAQ — How do I tape a stick?
Blade. Start at the heel, overlap each wrap by ~50%, work toward the toe. Keep tension consistent so the tape doesn't bunch. Trim with scissors at the toe and burnish the edge with the back of a puck.
Knob. Build a base wrap straight up from the butt-end, then twist the tape into a tight string and wrap it diagonally a few times to form the knob lip. Cap with another straight wrap.
Sock tape. Wrap clear tape over the top of the sock onto the shin pad, sticky side out for the first lap, then sticky side in. Two laps is plenty.
